Course Overview

Under Health and Safety law, anyone responsible for managing buildings must assess and manage the risk of Legionnaires’ disease and Legionella bacteria. This course provides essential training to help you design, manage, and maintain water systems that minimise the risk of Legionella outbreaks in residential and commercial environments.

Who Should Attend?

This course is ideal for:

  • Plumbers and maintenance engineers
  • Those employed by local councils, housing associations, or care providers
  • Anyone responsible for managing or maintaining hot and cold water systems in residential settings such as nursing homes, sheltered housing, or council properties

Pre-Requisites

No prior knowledge or qualifications are required.
However, it is recommended that learners complete a WRAS or Unvented Hot Water Systems course beforehand to enhance understanding.
