Overview

City & guilds 2391-52 level 3 test and inspect package has been developed for practicing electricians who wish to carry out Initial Verification and Periodic Inspection and Testing & Certification of Electrical Installations.

Designed to offer a cost-effective and efficient method of achieving either the 2391-50 or the 2391-51 in isolation or combining both as part of a convenient package to achieve the 2391-52.

Who is this course aimed at?

Practicing electricians who are working to the current wiring regulations and have preferably gained the City & Guilds 2382 qualification or equivalent.

How long will the course take?

5 plus 1 day practical DAYS

5 days (9am to 4pm).

What topics will it cover?

Applicable statutory and non-statutory documents

Safe systems of working

Initial Verification including Inspection, Testing and Certification

Purpose and frequency of Periodic Inspection

Periodic Inspection criteria

Completion of Electrical Installation Condition Report including Defect Codes

What books will I need?

You will need the IET 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, Guidance Note 3, and On-Site Guide.

Is there an exam?

Yes, there is a two hour multiple choice online examination and one practical assessment.
