The City & Guilds 2391-52 Level 3 Test and Inspect package has been developed for practicing electricians who wish to carry out Initial Verification and Periodic Inspection and Testing & Certification of electrical installations.

This package offers a cost-effective and efficient way to achieve either the 2391-50 or 2391-51 qualifications individually, or to combine both as part of the 2391-52 Level 3 Test and Inspect qualification.

The Details

Course: City & Guilds 2391-52 Level 3 Test and Inspect

Duration: 5 days, 9:00am – 4:00pm

Delivery: Face-to-face classroom and practical training

Assessment: Two-hour multiple-choice online exam and one practical assessment

Support: Experienced tutors guide learners through both theory and practical elements

Who is it for?

  • Practicing electricians working to the current wiring regulations
  • Candidates who have preferably gained the City & Guilds 2382 qualification or equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years old and provide evidence of being a practicing electrician

Accepted qualifications/evidence include:

  • Installation Electrician Apprenticeship with The Focus Training Group
  • Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Electrotechnical Services (Electrical Maintenance)
  • Level 3 Electrotechnical Qualification
  • Level 3 Electrotechnical Services Experienced Worker (or working towards)
  • Level 3 NVQ Electrotechnical Services
  • Level 3 Electrotechnical in Dwellings or Experienced Worker (or working towards)
  • EAL Building Services Engineering Level 3 – Electrotechnical Installation
  • Equivalent historical qualifications
  • ECS Gold Card for Domestic Electrician, JIB Electrician, or Approved Electrician Card

Note: Competence person schemes are not accepted.
