Perfect for experienced oil operatives or Gas Safe registered heating system operatives looking to become OFTEC registered in servicing pressure jet oil appliances.

This practical training course will provide operatives with the correct procedures for commissioning and servicing of pressure jet oil appliances.

It will enable installers to become OFTEC registered as domestic commercial oil firing system service technicians of pressure jet burners.

Qualification: OFTEC 101 – Commissioning and Servicing of Pressure Jet Oil Appliances
Duration: 1 day
Delivery: Practical, hands-on training with assessment
Assessment: Practical competency assessment covering all course topics
Certification: OFTEC registration as a domestic/commercial oil firing system service technician

Pre-requisites

Candidates must be either experienced oil operatives, or Gas Safe registered heating systems operatives.

Candidates must either already hold the 600a qualification, or take it alongside this assessment. It is recommended that new entrants to the oil industry undertake the OFT 50 course first.
