First Aid at Work Requalification Course
Keep your workplace safe and compliant by renewing your First Aid at Work (FAW) qualification before it expires.
According to HSE guidance, once a First Aider’s certificate expires, they are no longer considered competent to act as a First Aider. To avoid any gaps in workplace cover, we strongly recommend arranging your requalification course before your certificate expires.
Course Overview
This course allows existing First Aiders to renew their qualification by completing a shortened 2-day (12-hour) training programme.
Learners must meet the eligibility requirements listed below to attend the requalification course.

| In date or expired by no more than 1 month | ✅ Can attend a 2-day FAW requalification course |
| Expired by more than 1 month but less than 3 months | ✅ May attend with evidence of continued practice or at the discretion of the trainer |
| Expired by more than 3 months | ❌ Must attend the full 3-day First Aid at Work course |
Who is this course aimed at?
This qualification is designed for current First Aiders who need to renew their FAW certificate and continue acting as a qualified First Aider in the workplace.
Course Duration

Assessment and Certification
Your results will be notified within 2 weeks of completing the course.
Successful learners will receive a new First Aid at Work certificate, valid for three years.
Course Materials
No additional books or materials are required — everything you need will be provided during training.
