Level 3 Diploma in Children's Learning and Development (Early Years Educator) is for learners who work in, or want to work with children in Early Years.

Working in partnership in Early Years Settings
Promote the health and safety of children
Child development from conception to 7 years
Understand emotional development and attachment in order to support transitions and significant events in the early years sector
Plan, lead and review play opportunities which support children's learning and development
Safeguarding, protection and welfare of babies and young children in Early Years Settings
Support daily routines to meet babies and children's physical care needs
Promote children's speech, language, communication and literacy
Understanding the theories which underpin practice in the Early Years Sector
Support healthy lifestyles for children through hydration and nutrition
Promote the development of children's mathematical skills
Use observation, assessment and planning to promote the development of children
Understand and engage in professional development
Have experience or working with key children, observations, activity planning, assessing and reviewing
To work in a setting which would support a visiting trainer assessing your skills in the workplace
To be in a position to carry out 8 hours of study per week to complete the knowledge aspects of the level 3 programme
To have the appropriate of level of literacy and numeracy
To have regular access to a computer
Have a genuine desire to succeed
EPA assessment is an Observation of Practice and a Professional Discussion.
Grading is an overall pass, must pass both elements in EPA and a distinction is 21/27 of the distinction points in the professional discussion.

This occupation is found in the industrial, commercial, and residential construction, engineering, and power industries The broad purpose of the occupation is to install, maintain and repair electrical systems in industrial, commercial and residential environments including communal areas.
Electricians may work on the installation, initial verification and testing, commissioning, and maintenance of low voltage (up to and including 1000 V or AC 1500 V DC) electrical and electronic equipment. Electricians can also work on the maintenance of electrical and electronic installations including automated production systems.
Once qualified, some electricians may choose to become self-employed contractors.
