We are thrilled to announce that Emily, a 3rd Year Electrical Apprentice based in Bristol, has been nominated for Apprentice of the Year at the Aico Community Awards 2026.
Emily’s assessor from JTL nominated her in recognition of her dedication, hard work, and progress throughout her electrical apprenticeship.

Throughout her apprenticeship, Emily has consistently shown a strong work ethic, enthusiasm for learning, and a passion for electrical work. Her commitment to developing her skills has made her a standout apprentice at her training centre and workplace.
Employer Support
Emily is completing her apprenticeship with Melvin John Electrical Contracting, whose support for apprenticeships helps develop the next generation of skilled electricians. Their mentorship and guidance have played a crucial role in Emily’s success.
Looking Ahead
The Aico Community Awards celebrate individuals and organisations that make a positive impact in their communities and industries. The awards ceremony will take place on 16th April 2026, and everyone at The Focus Training Group is cheering Emily on.
