Qualification: AAT Skills Bootcamp – Foundation in Accountancy
Duration: Short, intensive programme (dates provided on enrolment)
Delivery: Combination of classroom-based training and practical exercises
Assessment: Ongoing practical exercises and knowledge checks
Certification: Skills Bootcamp certificate of completion

- Adults aged 19+
- Unemployed individuals with the right to work in the UK
- Residents of Cornwall looking to start a career in finance and accountancy
✅ What you’ll learn
- Bookkeeping fundamentals – basics of financial record-keeping
- Double-entry accounting – understanding core accounting principles
- VAT and business transactions – recording and managing VAT effectively
- Business documents – invoices, credit sales, and purchase orders
- Petty cash and expenses – managing small-scale financial records
✅ Progression Opportunities
On completion, learners can:
- Gain the skills and knowledge to prepare for employment in accountancy and finance
- Attend a guaranteed interview with a local employer
- Progress to further AAT qualifications , such as the Accounts & Finance Assistant Level 2 Apprenticeship
