Centrax Ltd manufactures Gas Turbine Generator Sets for a diverse international market, delivering complete power generation solutions, from design and engineering to assembly and maintenance.
Electrical installations are an important part of the overall package, so the Focus Training Group were approached for a City & Guilds 2382-18 Level 3 Award in the Requirements for Electrical Installations BS7671:2018 that suited the working arrangements of the Engineering, Quality, Test, Production, and Service Departments. The result was a tailored course on Centrax premises for 22 people over a period of 6 weeks (split groups on Tuesdays and Thursdays) between the hours of 16:00 and 18:00.
The two hour multiple choice online examination at the Focus Training Group office was attended by groups of 3 or 4 over a period of 2 weeks and a 100% pass rate was obtained.
